• Initiated and set up the practice of big data analytics in current organization by conducting sessions and leading a team of six.

• Introduced the concept of cloud based big data solutions for new clients to transfer their on premise data warehouse to cloud based big data lakes.

• Implemented high-volume data integration solutions using Hadoop ecosystem tools for transferring large datasets generated by applications to Hadoop file system.

• Streaming IoT device data using Azure event Hub and Kafka to store in Hive database for generating reports and gain insights performing analysis to the business.

• Transformed and processed streamed data in real time using Apache spark and storm to convert the unstructured data to structured format for analysis.

• Developed MapReduce, Hive Scripts, Pig scripts, Unix Shell scripts, Spark programs using Java/Python/Scala for all ETL loading processes and converting the files into parquet and JSON in the Hadoop File System. 

• Exported and imported high volume data from RDBMS system to HDFS using SQOOP.

• Design and develop data extraction and integration programs for loading the huge dataset from SQL warehouse to Hadoop file system using SQOOP, Pig and ETL tools.

• Visualize the real time data along with enriched data in SQL database using POWER BI and Tableau by creating dashboards and reports for the business to gain insights for which action needs to be taken.

• Write technical BLOGS pertaining to Big Data and cloud based technologies for the organization marketing team to help deriving the clients to the organization website.

• Work closely with sales team to develop proof of concepts for the clients using cloud based big data technologies.
